What Are the Benefits of This Supplement?

Lutigold contains plant carotenoids: meso-zeaxanthin, lutein, and zeaxanthin. Lutein and zeaxanthin accumulate in the retina and tend to get stored at the back of your eyes in the macula region.
Foods rich in carotenoids include honeydew melon, orange juice, kiwis, squash, grapes, and red peppers.

The carotenoid family is made up of plant pigments that give vegetables and fruits a yellow and reddish hue. Ironically, the foods with highest natural levels of carotenoids are dark-green leafy vegetables like parsley, kale, spinach, peas, and broccoli. These excellent dark-green carotenoid sources are disguised by their own chlorophyll, which masks the lutein and zeaxanthin pigments.
