Dr. Elena Tzamantaki was born and raised in Chania, Crete. She graduated in 1996 with honors from the Medical School of the University of Rome "La Sapienza". In 1997 she was awarded with distinction the title of Doctor of the University of Rome "La Sapienza" Her doctoral experimental thesis was on "Scintigrafia Mammaria con MIB Tc99 Implicazioni Clinico Terapeutiche" by the III Clinica Chirurgica Breast Clinic. She completed her residency in Aesthetic and Reconstructive Plastic Surgery at the Kapodistrian University of Athens.
During her residency in Aesthetic and Reconstructive Plastic Surgery at the University of Athens, she specialized in different University Hospitals in the Plastic Surgery Department, such as: "Metaxas" Anti-Cancer Hospital, "Agios Savas" Anti-Cancer Hospital, "Andreas Syngros" Venereal & Dermatological Diseases Hospital, and "G. Gennimatas".
Always restless and wanting to gain more experience and specialization, she followed the work of Clinics alongside her specialty, and later on, with further training for 6 years, next to famous Plastic Surgeons. Different Private Hospitals of Aesthetic Surgery, in Athens- "Iaso", in Paris, in Rome in Milan and in New York, gaining valuable experience in Aesthetic and Reconstructive Plastic Surgery of the face and breast and Body Contouring.
