Metabolomic analyses detect micronutrient deficiencies in the body and metabolic causes associated with the development of autoimmune and chronic diseases. He graduated in 1991 from the Faculty of Medicine Università degli Studi di Napoli, Federico II in Italy. In 2000 he completed his residency in General & Family Medicine at the Hippocrates Hospital of Athens, Greece, and in 2013 he completed the Update Course For General & Internal Medicine at Harvard Medical School.
He has been honored with an Honorable Mention by the Greek Ministry of Health for his contribution to Primary Health Care. He is the author of the best selling book "Your Body Is Genetically Programmed to be Healthy" published by METAIXMIO and translated into English and Italian. He is a member of the World Academy of Sciences - Associate Member Wolrd Academy of Sciences.
Dr. Tsoukalas has significant research work, he has published over 70 scientific studies and papers in international conferences, concerning the detection of metabolic disorders and micronutrient deficiencies, concerning the treatment and prevention of autoimmune and chronic diseases.
